Netgear EX6150 wrong country code
Hi,
My EX6150 reports wrong country code for the wireless networks, it says "FR", but I'm living in Sweden. My router "Technicolor TG799vacXTREAM" has two wireless networks, one for 2.4 Ghz and one for 5 GHz, the Technicolor automatically sets the region to "Europe".
The EX6150 is setup as a repeater with the same names for each wireless network as setup in the router.
If I start "diagnostic wireless" on my Macbook Pro it will report the following:
Technicolor = 2.4 GHz network
=======================
'TN_24GHz_XXXX' <544e5f32 3447487a 5f463441 XXXX>, bssid=c4:ea:1d:f4:a1:d5, channel=[11, width=20], cc=(null), type=11n, rssi=-36, rsn=[mcast=tkip, ucast={ aes_ccm }, auths={ psk }, caps=0xc], wpa=[mcast=tkip, ucast={ tkip }, auths={ psk }], wep=no, ibss=no, ph=no, swap=no, hs20=no, airport=no,
Netgear = 2.4 GHz

Technicolor = 5 GHz network

Netgear = 5 GHz
==============
'TN_5GHz_XXXX <544e5f35 47487a5f 46344131 XXXX>, bssid=a0:63:91:db:90:78, channel=[40, width=80], cc=FR, type=11ac, rssi=-26, rsn=[mcast=tkip, ucast={ tkip aes_ccm }, auths={ psk }, caps=0x0], wpa=[mcast=tkip, ucast={ tkip ccmp }, auths={ psk }], wep=no, ibss=no, ph=no, swap=no, hs20=no, airport=no,
Will it be a new update for the EX6150 that fixes this? Even if Technicolor sets the cc to null (Europe), Netgear should set the country code to “FR”
Best Regards
Anders
