If 2 different extenders from different manufacturers are having the same issue, its more likely to be the router that they're connecting to.

I will consider this, but if we think logically while DrayTek router working with it's DHCP server and can send WiFi IP to Netgear Extender,

I'm still thinking there is a compability issue with UniFi UAP Access Point or UCK-G2 management console firmware? (I have also asked this issue to UniFi community)

However I have a ASUS DSL-N17U and Tp-Link C4000 router and will try it with these devices.

      Thank you for the reply.

  • Hi again,

Since I don't have UniFi USG gateway, I test it with another 3rd party router which is Tp-Link Archer C4000 dual band WiFi and same issue again, clients not getting IP from router's DHCP server over UAP-AC-Lite Access Point.

I disabled UAP AP. within console and power off, then uplink the WiFi via C4000 router and Netgear Extender worked without a problem,

Somehow UAP is not uplink it's WiFi signal, meaning IP's... to 3rd party extenders but I don't know will it work with UniFi USG gateway, who knows?

I think UniFi only works it's own network system.

Sorry about that, I may be looking for the problem in the wrong place, I also wrote all of this to the UniFi community, but so far I didn't get any solution.

    Thanks to you all.
