Netgear EX7500 not booting up.
My extender was working fine yesterday. I moved it to a socket in another part of the house, and now it's just sitting there booting forever. By that I mean a slow pulsing blue power light. ...

Ok, I had a go at this.
This is what it said prior to the update: Firmware Version: V1.0.0.28_1.0.43
I updated to: Firmware Version 1.0.1.76
I did it manually but downloading the file and installing it.
And then I got the dreaded blue pulsing light again...
I'll keep going...

Try downgrading a version. Maybe the one you're on has issues that you're discovering

It's a brick now. Can't do anything with it at all.
Slow blinking blue light. Reset button does nothing. Power/WPS button does nothing.

You can try recovering it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

Thanks I'll look into this.

Oh, the extender I have doesn't have an ethernet plug on it. So no way to connect it to a pc...
