Netgear_EXT limited

Netgear_EXT is coming up on my networks but says "limited" we recently changed modems- the old modem had the modem id with EXT after it. Now I have a new modem but it will not recognise the new modem and just keeps coming up with yellow triangle - "limited"????? Please help! Have tried resetting etc nothing works

    When you reset and reinstall it, did you do it via wps or the installation wizard? Not all isp supplied devices play nice with wps. In those instances, try installing via the installation wizard. 

    What router is it? 

    Firmware on the extender?
