NetGear extender EX6100

My NetGear extender, an EX6100, is admittedly quite old. That said it works fine with one exception. It "blocks" my ability to connect with my Blink camera. Unplug the extender and I get live views and pictures; plug it in and I get a spinning circle and no connection. Anty thoughts how to remedy? Would a new extender resolve the problem?
