Netgear Genie Firmware
So, I've been hearing about this new Netgear Genie firmware that's available for select Netgear routers, have haven't seen it in the wild yet. Has anyone seen it, know what routers it's available for currently, and what it will be showing up on?
I ran a search on the Netgear support pages, only to come up with info on the Desktop Netgear Genie software, nothing about a new look for the firmware on the routers themselves. Is there an actual new firmware that uses the Genie layout? Or is it just that it routes through the Desktop Netgear Genie software when you try to login to 192.168.1.1 or routerlogin.com?
I'd really appreciate it if anyone has any screenshots that they can post of it, so I can walk my dad through it over the phone (he's 100 mi. away, and I REALLY don't want to have to spend $50 in gas to drive out to his house to look at it if I can help it).
