netgear genie, high traffic warning

I have a net gear WNDR4500, everytime I go to view a video a warning window pops up that says Netgear genie warning, High traffic, is this normal? And is there a way to change settings on this router. I stream movies with this router to television, and have tried both wireless and wired with a ethernet cable, and 50% of the time a message come up from Amazon video that says insuficient band width. Help, any suggestions.
