I don’t have a wireless card in my pc and my motherboard just has wired I don’t know why it would be my pc so I won’t try the extender. I was saying that I have packet loss when I use wireless on my Xbox so I have always used the power line adapter. The only coax plug in the wall that I know of is upstairs behind the tv unless there is a way to get one in my room if you could reply with the best option for the best and stable ping and download speed tell me.
I listed them in order of performance/ping. You just need to decide what is feasible for your price point and abilities.
xbox isn't a reliable indicator of ping as it doesn't usually test off reliable sources.
If you know you have a good location for the PC you can use an extender as a hardwired connection or you can add in a wireless card.
If its a newer pc, it probably has pci-e lanes to add in a wireless card. and if it doesn't perform as needed, then you could add the extender.
What model pc is it?

I built my own pc the specs are Ryzen 2600 asus rog strix b450 f asus Nvidia 2060 super so I have more lanes to use Is there any settings in windows that I could change to make my ping better? Also I did change my dns servers to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 would changing these back to default increase my speeds

I've got a ryzen 2700x with a similar setup. I've ran it with a 10g ethernet connection and with a intel AX200 wireless setup for testing purposes and I don't notice much difference in game play. Ping times maybe increased 5ms using my wireless setup.
