Are Netgear Modem Routers compatible with HughesNet Gen 5 Satellite Internet?

Modems? no. Hughesnet needs its own receiver.
routers? Sure. they can be connected to the hughesNet reviever. The hughes net tends to have its own router capability so you have to ensure you're not in a double nat when you connect them. That entails either putting the hughesnet in passthrough mode, entering the netgear into its dmz, or putting the netgear in access point mode.
