Netgear Nighthawk AC 1900 R6900P. Is it compatible with both the EX 7000 and the EX8000 entenders?
R6900P wondering compatiblity with the EX 7000 or EX 8000 extender?
The R6900P will work with any of those. The whole purpose of the triband is it reserves one of its bands just for talking with the router.
Ended up getting the EX7300 Mesh Extender.
Any thoughts on that choice vs the EX7000 or EX8000?

I've used the EX7300 and the EX8000. You're comparing dual band to triband.
I like the ex8000 because of the wireless backhaul that it uses. It tends to keep speeds more consistent with less latency.
But the ex7300 works well too for being a dual band extender.
- Ok I’m trying not to ask a dumb question but isn’t my Nighthawk model R6900p a dual band.? And you’re sure the EX 8000 triband will work with it? Also concerned with the ease of setup?
