Netgear nighthawk EX7700 very high ping issue
i bought my Nighthawk EX7700 over 2 weeks ago and didnt notice any problems until now. i keep lagging and stuttering in my online games and this is the problem my ping jumps from 9ms to 900ms and sl...
What firmware is on it?
What router is it connected to?
Is it running in ap mode or extender mode?
Do you have your gaming maching hardwired into it or wireless?
If its in extender mode, have you tried changing the routers wifi channel? maybe there's interference
If you hardwire into the extender, what speeds do you get?
firmware: V1.0.0.206
the extender is connected to my main router:Draytek Vigor 2132FVn
it is running in extender mode
it is connected to my gaming pc via a cat 5 ethernet cable
if i hardwire into extender and test my speeds i get these results:
9 ping ms
18 mbps download
33mbps upload
i don't know how to change the routers wifi channel can you help me with that?
try checking your router manuals. it should be in the wireless settings
