Netgear WGR614v10 repeating does not work-please help
Hello all i purchased 2 brand new netgear WGR614v10 routers specificallyso i could repeat wifi signal howevr i have been disappointed with the result router1 is connected to my broadband modem...

i see that the difference between the tutorial i posted and the correct one you posted is
1.The additions of MAc addresses of all wireless devices on the setup access list of both the base station and the repeater
2 the "channel" of the base and repeater must be the same
now i have followed your new tutorital
problem still persists
however when i change the channels (i.e channel 1 on base and channel 6 on repeater) = i get an Excellent wifi signal - something i have never got
however not internet access!
damn
when i change the channels back so that the base and repeater are the same
then im back to square one as i said
low signal- with drop connectivity
are you sure the channels have to be the same
and if they are not the same - why no internet access even though the signal is very strong?
