Hello all i purchased 2 brand new netgear WGR614v10 routers specificallyso i could repeat wifi signal howevr i have been disappointed with the result router1 is connected to my broadband modem...

Make sure you are using wireless Mac address under router status
what is wireless mac address
my router status shows only two mac addresses
internet port mac address and LAN port mac addresss ( which is the same as the sticker)
i have used the LAN port mac address

the above leads me to assume that my notebook can communicate with the repeater- which is evident from the "EXCELLENT" signal i receive when i use diff channels ( base and repeater)- (albeit NO internet connectivity)
i think the issue here is that there is no wifi communication between the base and repeater - (internet doesnt flow between them)
what do you guys think is the problem
