Netgear Wi-Fi range extender WN3000RPv3 not working

My Netgear Universal Wi-Fi range extender does not work. The LED lights don't turn on. Did try to use the Power switch to Turn On/Off the range extender but the lights did not come on. My Netgear primary router is connected and works fine and so all other devices. Can someone tell me if this is an issue with the extender, is there a way to fix this or i should buy a new one.

If you can't get even the power light to come on, you might be screwed.

Try changing outlets. Try moving/pushing the switch a few times.

    Is it within warranty?

Warranty period is over. I have plugged in the Wi-Fi extender in more than 5 different outlets but the lights still don't turn on. I appreciate your taking time to respond back. Thank you.

If its out of warranty, I'd try opening it up and seeing if the power connection or switch came loose.

Its already borked and you can't wreck it much worse.
