Netgear wifi extender not connecting

I factory reset it 5 times, I’ve had it for two years and it all of a sudden, it isn’t connecting to the internet. I used my Ethernet cable to connect it to my pc, and all it’s saying is action needed on my pc. The router light isn’t on, but the other two (wps, and power) are on. I’ve been sitting here for 10 mins trying to wait to see if it works but it isn’t, and also customer support contract is so dumb, I’d never have to contact support unless something like this happens, and it’s only happened this one time after 2 years. Can someone help please
