Are you using any special characters or spaces in your password? these can create issues.
another thing to try doing is to set it up via the smart connect wizard and not via wps. Not all manufacturer's wps work properly. So sometimes a simple re-setup via the smart connection wizard fixes things.

What router are you connecting it to?
What extender is it? N300 is a speed and not a model.
