Netgear WNR834b v2 and iPad2
Since a couple of days I'm noting a problem.
My iPad can't reach my wireless network in my bedroom.
Situation:
Since 2 weeks I moved to a new home. I picked up a working situation en placed it in my new home.
In my living room I see my wireless network with my iPad. In my bedroom (1st floor) I can't see my wireless network with my iPad.
The distance in my previous house between my router (Netgear WNR834b v2) en my bedroom wass about the same (and there it worked flawless).
My laptop can access the wireless network in my bedroom.
The walls of my home ar full with metal frames.. (I can imagine that's not good for the signal. On the other hand my laptop can see and access the network)
I already did some research but no result so far...
With inSSIDer I scanned the channels that are in use by my neighbours. With my laptop I see that I have a value of -60 (or something) in my bedroom... The networks of the neighbour are not conflicting here.
Does someone know a configuration that I can make on my Netgear WNR834b v2 so that I can access my wireless network in my bedroom on my iPad?
Or do I need another Router?
