NetGearEX6100V2 not connecting

     I have an older Netgear  model EX6100V2 extender and i have a few Eero mesh routers in the house. I would like to use this extender to run my dvr camera system that is locate elsewhere in my house where I don't currently have internet. I would use this to extend my current network to my dvr . I have used this several years ago with great success. 

     I had problems trying to get the web page to load the setup using mywifiext but finally got past that and i was able to set this up in software. I am wondering if possibly my firmware is out of date. It seems to finish the setup but i am not able to get this to work at all.
