Network Extender + Yamaha Receiver
I have a Yamaha R-N303 network steroe receiver. It is ethernet plugged into a Nighthawk Network Extender.The receiver wont connect to my network to setup. My network is not showing the Yamaha receive...
It does not
Also, the yamaha receiver worked on another network with no extender
What router is the extender connected to?
Firmware on the extender?
Did you setup the extender using WPS?

I dont recall how extender was installed, its been in use for a couple of years
What extender do you have and what firmware? These are keys as "up to date" isn't always the best.
What gateway are you using?
If you've had it for years, did it work before? did it stop working?
did something happen to stop it from working?Is it only wired that isn't working?
I updated through the Nighthawk app. It loaded 1.09.64. The gateway is an R7800 router coming off a Comast modem in bridge mode. The extenders only purpose was to extend the network for my desktop where I had poor reception. We ran a patch cable from the extender to the location of the Yamaha. The desktop is working fine, no issues. Its ethernet plugged.
