Network password not working on brand new N300 - EX2700

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a N300 (MN:EX2700) and connected it via the WPS button on my Technicolor TG582n router, which connected easily with no issues. However, when I come to log in and enter my usual network password (as instructed), it is rejected as incorrect. But i'm sure that is is the correct password. I have even gone to the extent of using keychain on my MAC (version: 10.11.4) to make sure the password is right. I have also tried connecting on various other devices - laptops, phones and streaming devices - none will connected. any advice would be much appreciate! :)

    Try resetting and re-installing using the installation wizard and not wps. not all manufacturer's code wps the same and it can cause issues. 

    what firmware is on your extender?

    Also check your router forums as some routers work poorly with extenders.
