Network Security key????

I just received my Netgear Wifi Range Extender model #EX2800.  I'm trying to connect the extender network to my home network, and it keeps asking me for the network security key.  I've entered every number I can find on my (Dish) router, and on the extender itself, nothing works.  Can anyone help me???

    At what point is it asking for network security key? 

    What router are you connecting it to? 

    Are you using wps or the installation wizard for setup?
