New Computer Causing Issue with N300 WiFi Range Extender
Greetings: I recently bought a new Dell all-in-one desktop and connected it to my home network via ethernet. Other devices that aren't in my room are on an extender - a N300 WiFi Range Extender ...
what modem/router do you have?
If the issues happens with just the modem/router and the new PC, then I'd be contacting the PC manufacturer with issues or checking their forums.
The other issue seems to be even when I take the extenders off, the computers/machines/etc. that were using the extender won't connect to the main network. That's why I'm leaning towards some issue with the new computer itself, but I've never had a situation like this before. I had a laptop plugged in to the modem/router via ethernet, and it was fine. It was not Windows 11, I don't think, so I'm not sure what's happening.
