New install. No router detected.

Out of box install. 

Removed existing router. 

Downloaded App. 

Run app and followed instructions. 

 

App "Cant find router" or similar. Proceeds to direct me to device settings to connect netgear manually. Router is listed with ! and in brackets says 'needs authorisation'. Sometimes without promting/automatically or when clicking on netgear connection it immediatley takes me to a page to install the app again. Close of out settings and app. 

Upon starting the app up again it detects no wifi and the process repeats. Again and again.

 

My wifes phone and the PC both pick up the netgear aswell although neither have the ' ! authorisation ' message next to netgear in wifi connections. Both try to connect but there is no internet. 

 

We had the Orbi prior and it took hours on the phone to connect it out the box. So Id love to resolve this quickly.
