I have been trying to read the stickies and how tos, but something is just not clicking for me, so I apologize if this is already answered somewhere. I have an existing WN802T plugged directly in to an interface on our firewall through a switch. I have purchased an additional WN802Tv2 to try to solve an issue with wireless devices dropping their signals in our approximately 10,000 square foot facility. The issue is that the handoff is not seamless. I have tried setting it up as a wireless repeater and just using a different channel and IP (in the same range) but the same SSID and security settings. If I connect on one and then move to an area close the other, my signal appears to drop off and attempt to reconnect to the new WAP. What am I doing wrong?

Here are the settings for each with different channels:
WAP 1:
DHCP: disabled
ip: 10.107.10.2 (subnet, gateway, primary & secondary DNS are the same for both)
SSID: WR-OPEN
channel: 1
security: WPA-PSK & WPA2-PSK

WAP 2:
DHCP: disabled
ip: 10.107.10.3 (subnet, gateway, primary & secondary DNS are the same for both)
SSID: WR-OPEN
channel: 6
security: WPA-PSK & WPA2-PSK

**I saw something that indicated the security setting may be the issue and I need to use WEP? I am unable to test this currently as people are actively using the network.

Wireless Repeater Settings:

WAP 1: same as above
WAP 2:
DHCP: disabled
ips: 10.107.10.3 (subnet, gateway, primary & secondary DNS are the same for both)
SSID: WR-OPEN
channel: 1
set as Repeater without wireless client association
Remote Mac Address: I used the Local Mac Address found in WAP 1 here, not sure if that is correct or not
Network Authentication: WPA2-PSK

Both of these setups do not allow for a seamless handoff. Any help on what I am doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.
