HEIP ME  PLEASE——my extender stopped working for no apparent reason —I have tried turning off and ON —now I am trying to re-set it up with the App on my I pad —-it wants a PASSWORD that is different ...

What model do you have ? R or RAX###?

 

Look at the sticker on the router for default passwords for setting up.

Might set up the router with a wired PC and web browser for easier setup.
