Nighthawk A6 Ac2200
The extender i bought doesnt have its own wifi so i cant connect and activate its also connected to my xr500 with an ethernet cable but it still one connect to it so i can extend my wifi any suggetio...
So it is a mesh extender but i try to set it up on the netgear app the extender shows up on the app but it doesnt allow me to connect it to my wifi it tells me to connect to netgear_ext but it doesnt show up on my networks or anything.
The extender im using is the Nighthawk X6 AC2200.
Is it the EX7700?
try this,
Factory reset the extender.
then during setup, hardwire a pc/laptop into the extender.
Then disable the wifi on the pc/laptop so your computer doesn't default back to its wireless.
then attempt setup using the installation assistant.
What firmware version is on the ex7700?
