nighthawk ex7700
hello folks i have just bought this extender i have connected to the netgear_ext in my wifi settings, but ive no idea on what to do next. im a nerd and its like pulling teeth trying to get it set up. ive followed the instructions on the wps setup but nothing happens any help would be great

connecting to the _ext network and connecting via wps are 2 different setup methods.
What router do you have?
What firmware is on the extender?
If you go to the support site (https://www.netgear.com/support/product/ex7700) there are videos on there. it goes over setting up via app, setting up using wps, and setup using the installation assisant. I'd highly recommend using the assistant.
If the videos don't help, explain where in the process its failing or not workingthanks for that, i reset my extender and turned it on, but netgear_exe does not appear anywhere in my wifi settings on my pc or mobile phone, so how can i connect when its not there
