Nighthawk R7000 won’t connect to internet

I couldn’t remember the password to my Nighthawk R7000 so I did a factory reset and after trying to get it to connect to the Internet for hours, I still can’t get it to connect. I called my Internet provider and everything is good on their end. I switched out the ethernet cable and the power cord with the new ones and that didn’t help. When I go to routerlogin.net, everything looks good except that I have a red bar on Internet connection that states that it is not connected. I am about to pull out my hair over this issue! If there are any ideas out there, please let me know.
