I'm a fan of the orbi's and how well they work.
Most routers wifi is limited because of restrictions set by the fcc. While you do see better peak speeds with some of the flagship routers, the orbi's tend to provide much better average throughput when you start moving through a home.
Plus they have the advantage of being able to have the satellites hardwired in if needed/desire. Say if that area of your home has something blocking wifi, you could always run an ethernet cable, use powerline devices, or use moca adapters to get a hardline to that area and hook up the satellite.
