Nighthawk WiFi extender not working

At first the just power led comes on, then in the app when I connect to the net gear extended WiFi the light on the other end, which is if it is connect to your phone turns on, but that’s it, I don’t know what firmware it is and I don’t know how I would be able to check? Not without being able to get into the app and getting it to work, I’m trying to use the app to get it to work, and I’m not sure how to log into it with the ip. I truly don’t know why I can’t get it to work.
Nevermind, now I got the app to detect it and I finally got in and everything but it won’t give internet, it’s like it’s set up and everything but it just won’t give out internet like it’s not connect, but in the app it says it is, in the app it says it’s offline.
- After messing with it, It seems to stop working when I switch it to the Ethernet mode, it stops working with my WiFi, and when I turn it to the Ethernet mode, my phone won’t even work on the internet, I have no clue what to do
- Sorry to spam this, I just realized I was switching it to a different mode, it’s all working now, for anyone who finds this and has the same issue, the best advice I can give is to factory reset it and hope for the best.
