Nighthawk WiFi Mesh Extender EX7700, Mesh Extender Vs Normal Access Point

Hello Netgear Community.

Now Im Working in Warehouse with huge place that need covered with wifi. Since the warehouse size is huge, its impossible to have one router to covering every corner of My Warehouse and I Have more than 7 pcs of EX7700 Nighthawk WiFi Mesh Extender.

Is it better to have set up my EX7700 Nighthawk with: Mesh Connection Or Normal access point through LAN cable with same SSID?, considering the warehouse worker that always move, and bring device that need connected to wifi.

Are you running a single EX7700 or seven of them?

If its 1, mesh will work fine.

If you're running seven of them, I'd recommend actually getting a mesh system designed for that many and not trying to do it with extenders as you'll run into issues.

      Thank you For the respond!

Yes,Im running Seven of them, to cover every corner of my warehouse.

I am thinking to set it with mesh and make one of them be the Main AP and others 6 will be extending it.

So, based on your recommendation, what is ideal design for getting a mesh system designed?

Problem with running 7x extenders instead of a true mesh system is that they can connect to each other if they're running the same ssid. Then you get drops, "no internet available", and an unstable system.

I'd be looking at the orbi pro system or netgears insight system. If your business is dependant on wireless, its better to do it right rather than constantly fighting/rebooting your system. It'd run but you'd want individual ssids for most of the extenders to keep them from connecting to each other and looping.
