nighthawk x4 ac 2200 works with cox panoramic but now smart phones unable to access internet

i have just purchased the nighthawk x4 wifi mesh extender ac2200.  my pc is running faster, and i have connection in areas of the the home that i did not before.  BUT now my smart phones and tablets are unable to access the internet.  I have 4 rounded bars on my phone, but tells me that i do not have internet connection.  HELP>

    Did you set it up via wps or using the installation wizard? 

    I'd recommend factory resetting the extender and reinstalling it using the installation wizard.
