Nighthawk X4S. Use as extender/access point.
I was using this device as an access point / extender in my old home with an Ethernet cable. In my new home my office is on a split level with no easy hard wire route. Can I simply boost the existing signal. I’m getting about 2-3 bars. Any help welcomed. I’m IT savvy but a pure layman, so a simple solution would be appreciated!

Any chance there's coax ran within the home? you could still set it up as an AP but use a moca adapter.
Or you could use powerline.
those are probably going to be your 2 easiest and most reliable setups.
What do you have setup as a primary router?
