Nighthawk X6 Tri-band WiFi Mesh Extender

After more extensive  trouble shooting my problem I have concluded that my problem lies with the NETGEAR NIGHTHAWK AX8 8-STREAM ax6000 WIFI ROUTER MODEL: RAX80.

I upgraded both my X6 Tri band WIFI Mesh Extender and my NightHawk AX8 8-stream ax6000 WIFI ROUTER MODEL RAX80 and the router had the following problems:

1. it would not broadcast my 5hz wifi band

2. I tried rebooting and when the 5hz band appeared it would not accept my password.  I changed passwords several times and was unsuccessful.

3. had problems communicating with the mesh extender.  had to revert to the non mesh mode on the extender

4. WIFI bands would not  broadcast throughout the house.  I tried moving the extender around but no luck

5. communication between the extender and router would disappear

6. had to continually reboot the router.

7.  Before installing this router my network displayed 50 devices.  this router only displayed 13 devices

My only resolution was to reinstall my old R8500 router.  Now everything works fine. I even flashed my R8500 with the latest software release.  

 I am now a happy camper.   I will use the AX8 8 streams as a paper weight.
