Nighthawk X6 WiFi Router R7900 mesh w/ another ethernet wifi router?
Hi, I have a NETGEAR Nighthawk X6 Smart WiFi Router R7900 AC3000 router as my primary router. I would like to extend the wifi to the other side of the house. I have cat5e cabling to that area. Is there a netgear product that I can plug in and mesh with the existing R7900 to make a single continuous wifi zone throughout the house rather than using an extender?
Thanks.

That router isn't a mesh router and netgears mesh extenders don't function as a mesh when hardwired in. the smart roaming features are disabled in access point mode. You can add an extender and have it use the same ssid as the primary router but devices will tend to be sticky and stay connected to the router/extender they were connected to.
