Nighthawk X6S AC3000 Tri-Band Wifi Range Extender Model EX8000 won't sync with Spectrum Router
Purchased a Netgear Nighthawk X6S, AC3000 Tri-Band WiFi Range Extender to use with my Spectrum router. It will not connect through the WPS. When I turn it on, it says to press the WPS button until the WPS LED blinks. When I do turn it on, all of the buttons blink and don't stop. I push the WPS on the Spectrum router and it does nothing. About 10 minutes later, the 2.4 light comes on....however I cannot connect anything to it.
While I am trying to sync, I have the two units right next to each other.
It only came with Quick Start instructions and no trouble shooting options. Going to be forced to send it back and try a different brand if I can't figure this out. Can anyone help?

WPS doesn't work for all devices because not all implement wps the same (they should). this is espcially true with ISP supplied device.
Fortunately, netgear also has the option of using the smart installation wizard. the support site has a video that walks you through using it. I think its the 3rd video on the support site (if you click the > button). Here's the support site with firmware, manuals, videos, troubleshooting, etc.

Try this and see if it works.
