Nighthawk X6S All lights blink white on front and power lite in back blinks red

Machine had been working fine for 6 months. All of a sudden all the front lights were blinking white and the power light was blinking red. Tried to reset without success. when unplugging and replugin...

I am getting a solid green going to a blinking red.  No amber.

if you read the symptoms that could mean trying tftp: 

Symptoms:

  • Router not booting up properly
  • Failed firmware update
  • Blinking power LED
  • Power LED is blinking/solid amber
  • Device bricked after performing a FW update
