Nighthawk X6S EX8000 - Access Schedule in AP mode
Hi,
My Nighthawk X6S EX8000 is configured as an Access Point.
The thing I noticed is that in Access Point mode there is NO way to get into the Do More > Access Schedule - this field simply doesn’t exist end therefore I’m unable to Set Up an Access Schedule.
Please add this feature as for someone who placed the device in the bedroom I don’t want the radios to be active during night time.
Thanks in advance.

Hello ChristineT
Aware you are not in charge for new features or changed. However, this is a typical problem carried forward from the Nightawk routers to these Wireless Extenders: The AP mode is much to basic, features like wireless scheduling is not made available in AP mode. Beyond any common sense why such an Wireless Extender should have a working wireless scheduler in Wireless Extender mode (uplink by wireless), while the very same product does not have a wireless schedule if configured as an AP and connected by a wired connection.
Needless to say, the same problem exist on all the routers and Nighthawk which can be configured as Wireless AP.
I really don't understand on how such discrepancies can exist in what are supposed to be easy to deploy and consumer friendly devices. These product managers seem to sit on a diferent planet.

Missing this functionality aswell deeply to automaticalle de- and active the antennas! Its annoying as i am using a non wireless capable router where the X6S is connected via LAN to be responsible for the complete wireless network at home.
- TeenetGuideHi Delgado, Couldn’t agree with you more on this!!! The big question is how do we make Netgear implement this feature?!?!?

i dont think this is a missing feature, its obiously a bug! It makes no sense to have this functionality already implemented but "hidden" when changing to AP mode. Everybody should open a support ticket for this
- TeenetGuideThat’s a great idea! I will definitely try opening a support ticket for this matter.
- TeenetGuideThanks for the list! I don’t see anything related to Access Schedule in there though... Perhaps this is a bug after all...

I have a 12yo son who is game addicted. He wakes up at 5am in the am to play game. I must schedule wireless access to the router
