no wifi comes up on my wifi settings AC750 model ex6100v2
Netgear does not show up on my wifi setup
Did you setup the extender already using wps or the installation assistant?
If you set it up already, the EX6100v2 is default a mesh extender. Meaning it uses the same ssid (name) as the router. so it won't show up different unless you manually set it up different.
the LED is not on showing the client link!! only light that is not on.
If you set it up using wps, its running in mesh mode. meaning it has the same ssid as the router.
You won't see the "client link" led light up until a device connects to it. In mesh mode, its the device itself (cell phone, tablet, etc) that roams between the router and the extender.
- So how do I tell if it is doing what it should be doing
does it extender your coverage?
If you log into the client, whats it show for a status page?
Is anything connecting to it? give it a little time as devices need to migrate to it based off their own protocols.
