NOOK Tablet MAC Filtering Problem

I have tried typing 192.168.1.1 and http://192.168.1.1 into the IE browser but I don't get anything that asks for a username or password. I just keep getting links to information about that IP. I tried typing in ipconfig as well and I have no idea how to get into the router to change MAC filtering.
I have never had to do anything with MAC filtering before. The Nook is my only device that is giving me problems with connecting to the internet.
