Not connected to your extender's WiFi network
I had the Netgear AC750 WiFi Range Extender Model EX6100v2 set up successfully previously. However, I just replaced my new router (from a linksys to a frontier) and am trying to set up the extender to work with the new router. I did reset the extender to the factory settings. The extender Client Link LED is green showing that the connection between the extender and my wifi enabled computer have a great connetion. But when I open my wi fi available networks, it won't allow frontier and netgear to work at the same time. I imagine going through the "New Extender Setup" with fix that. However, when I go to mywifinext.net for the extender setup page, I get a netgear website that says " not connected to your extender's WiFi network ". To be honest, I fly by the seat of pants with computers and I could really use some help here for the wifi challenged!
Thanks!

Easiest route?
Hardwire into the extender. Disable the wifi on the computer hardwired into the extender. Reason why is the computer will default to the working wifi and not to the ethernet connection. Then try running the installation wizard. You were correct in thinking that route would work when wps wouldn't.

Thank you plemans for replying so fast! I did what you suggested and it did work up to a point and know I'm stuck again :( I wired the ethernet cable from my port on the extender to the port on my computer and that did let me get to the extender setup page and I was able to get halfway through that but now I'm stuck where it wants me to "Connect any Wifi enabled device like you would to your main network, using the credentials below" page. The page does show the extended network but it wants me to click the continue button only after I connect my wifi device. Here comes the stupid question... How do I connect to the main network?

No stupid questions. But what exactly do you mean? Connect a pc to the extenders wifi, connect the extender to the main wifi, what exactly are you doing? I'm not there to see it so some screen snips or a little more details help.
