Hi mattjohncook, yes, if the the PLW1000 originally worked out in the studio then that means that the electrical line is connected to to the main house which works well for powerlines.

Hi mattjohncook, both would work. I'm not sure though if you can purchase one that isn't part of a kit/bundle/pair.

Thanks Dexter. I did find one on eBay being sold by an electronics firm second hand, wired not wireless, but when I messaged them they said it wouldn't work. I guess I'll have to suck it and see. Thanks again for your help. Matt
