Outdoor studio problem
I currently use a NETGEAR WiFi Plug in extender (PLW1000/PL1000) to boost signal from the router by our front door to the back of the house (downstairs). This works well for our needs (and provides s...

Hi mattjohncook, yes, if the the PLW1000 originally worked out in the studio then that means that the electrical line is connected to to the main house which works well for powerlines.

Hi mattjohncook, both would work. I'm not sure though if you can purchase one that isn't part of a kit/bundle/pair.

Thanks Dexter. I did find one on eBay being sold by an electronics firm second hand, wired not wireless, but when I messaged them they said it wouldn't work. I guess I'll have to suck it and see. Thanks again for your help. Matt

Hi Dexter
Me again! I've added a PLP1000 in the house for the TV, and moved the PLW1000 to the outdoors studio. Both work, but not in tandem. If the PLP1000 is switched on inside the house the wireless connection outside drops out. Is there a way to get both to function at the same time? Or could it be that the inside one is plugged into an extender? It's hard to fit it into the wall directly and seems to work OK in giving the TV the bandwidth it needs. Thanks again for your advice.
