Pairing extender with a new outdoor security camera

Hi all.

I already use an EX2700 which I purchased last year which is upstairs but the signal was not strong enough from my router to go outside so I have a new EX2700 and I'm lost as to how to pair it to my ieGeek ZS-GX5 wireless security camera which needs 80% min strength to operate at its best. 
 I am 69 and not so smart with technology.

 I will be very grateful for any assistance you can extend to me.

    I assume the camera runs on 2.4ghz

    Connect a device such as your laptop or cell phone/tablet to the 2.4ghz extended wireless network and then configure your camera per the manufacturers instructions using your device
