password not recognised - WN3000RP V1H2
My netgear wifi extender connects ok to the router, and has the same wifi name, with_EXT on the end. When I try to connect any equipment to it, using the same password as the router, it says "incorrect password". Can anybode explain?

What router did you connect it to?
Did you install it using wps?
If so, factory reset it and reinstall using the installation assistant and NOT wps. Wps can get coded different between manufacturers and cause issues.
It's a Vodaphone THG3000. I will try resetting it. Many thanks
