I have a issue with my internet and it's having a lot of bad ping. Such as the game Fortnite, it says that I'm far away from NAE Servers but I literally live in the State of Maryland. Which is in th...

Are you hardwired into your games?
What speeds do you pay for?
What speeds do you get over a pc hardwired into the router?
do you have a screen snip of your modems connections page?
that's important.
Also, you're posting in the extenders section when you've got a modem/router combo device.
Please post in the proper forum

No, I'm not hardwired, it's wireless so I'm 13 Meters away (approixmately) from the router. And I can't really connect to the router because near my router is the window and the couch so I don't have any space to play or anything. And can you explain the 3rd one sorry I don't really understand please, thanks.

So if you log into the device and click on the cable connection icon. It'll take you to the cable connection page. It shows the connection back to the isp to make sure its decent. I'll upload an example on here of what it looks like. yours will be a little different because mine isn't from a c3700.
Other thoughts is the C3700 is a single band modem/router device. If you live in an area with quite a few wireless networks, single and devices struggle with gaming/streaming. Reason why is 2.4ghz is significantly slower and have much more interference from other networks. If you're a gamer and live in an area with quite a few wireless signals, an upgrade to dual band or hardwiring in your gaming device is recommended. You can hardwire in via an ethernet connection, using a powerline device, more even using a moca adapter.

You should have more than 1 locked upstream channel.
things you can try.
1. have the isp check the line
2. make sure there's no splitters, amplifiers, attenuators in line.
3. move the modem to right where the coax enters the home
4. have the isp reprovision the modem. maybe they sent the wrong provisioning file
And at some point, if you're going to game wireless, you should upgrade to 5ghz, powerline, an ethernet connection, or a moca adapter. 2.4ghz is atrocious for gaming.
I forget, what speeds do you pay for?
What speeds are you getting hardwired into the C3700?
