if you are just installing WG AP with ethernet cable then should be simple as chaining the device IP for the WG in a same LAN subnet so that you can access the WG unit but you should still have able to hook it up and able see SSID of the wireless and make connection
chainging the device ip are important so that you can access the interface but this not concern greatly for making wireless connection using your main router as DHCP
