I think what you're trying to do is wireless bridging but I don't know if the BT Business hub can do it as I don't have one. If it can there will be some settings you need to change to tell it to repeat its signal to the access point of your choice, called in netgear's access point settings "wireless point to point bridge".
If you google 2wire wireless bridging you get some results which are about turning the 2wire into "just a modem" which is not what you want to do.
