Please help!!!!!!!!
I bought a WN1000RP on ebay. I AM SO REGRETTING EVEN TRYING TO USE THIS THING!!!!!
I got it all connected. Now when ever I have my laptop connected to the repeater this comes up:

AND when I am connected to it through my iPad, this comes up:

And, that's not the end of it!
I unplugged the repeater because I had had enough of it and wouldn't work anyway. I want to just go back to using my original WiFi now and just deal with the weak signal I have in my bedroom because it is better than nothing. But now my iPad wont even find my WiFi netwrk anymore! AND when on the off chance it actually does find it (like this has only happened once or twice very fleetingly) my iPad wont connect to it. That circle thing just keeps going round and round and round and round and it never connects. Like this:

Somebody please help me! It is so ridiculous that I cannot access Netgear support because the device is over 90days old!! Shame on you Netgear!!
As I said. If you can tell me how to fix the initial problem regarding getting the repeater to work then that would be great. But if not, the most important thing is that I get my original capability to connect my iPad to my WiFi network back! This netgear product has ruined it! A weak signal is better than nothing at all....

- BexxAspirantOK, SINCE I STARTED TYPING THIS OUT. I FOUND OUT THE USERNAME AND PASSWORD AND IT WORKED BUT NOW WHENEVER I CONNECT TO THE BOOSTER IT JUST DROPS OUT ALL THE TIME AND EVERYTIME IT PICKS IT BACK UP AGAIN IT GETS ME TO START THE INSTALLATION PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN!
I am seriously about to jump out of my window over this! I have so much studying to do for University!
If someone from netgear reads this, SHAME ON YOU GUYS! I have searched and there are heaps of people having similar problems like this all over the internet. PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CAN GET THIS PRODUCT TO RUN PROPERLY! - fordemMentorFirst let's start by recognizing that the position you find yourself in is as a result of the choices you made along the way - when you choose to buy a product on ebay, you accepted the risks that go with an ebay purchase - you could have purchased the product new, for example at BestBuy, it would probably have cost more, but you would have been guaranteed a new, working product, and the support you apparently need to get the product installed. Next - I deliberately chose BestBuy as an example, because they have the "Geek Squad" - and you can have the Geek Squad come out to your place and install your extender, for a fee of course - and I'm sure, that, as a university student, you know a geek or two, who could probably help you out. Where do we start now? Is your WN1000RP defective or just incorrectly configured? Did it come with the CD & documentation? Did you follow the instructions? And for the record, removing the WN1000RP is as simple as unplugging it - if your iPad can no longer connect to the original WiFi signal, that is not a problem caused by the repeater - THINK IT THROUGH - did you install any Netgear software on the iPad? Let me make it clear - I see nothing wrong with trying to save a buck or two by buying used equipment on ebay, my last Netgear purchase came off of ebay, and I'm quite pleased with it - but - I knew the risks I was taking, one of which was that if the product didn't work, resolving the issues was between the ebay seller and I, Netgear never enters the picture. Now - if you want help getting the repeater installed - quite griping and blaming Netgear and tell us what you have (as in what are you connecting the repeater to) and what steps you took to get where you are... If not, unplug it, sell it on ebay, tell your iPad to forget the wireless networks and then let it rediscover your existing WiFi and move on.
