Power LED on my Powerline AV 200 Wireless Adapter will not stop flashing and has stopped connecting
I have had my extender for ages, but noticed yesterday that the wireless was poor near the extender (it had been working fine). I discovered that the wireless adapter's LED's had gone off apart from the power LED, which is constantly flashing green. As a result, the extender's LED that indicated a connection with the adapter has also gone off.
I have tried all I can think of, including factory reset both devices and gone through set up process again, with both plugs near my router, but it hasn't worked. When I plug the extender into my PC via ethernet cable, the netgear powerline utility software recognises what type of device it is, and gives me all the options (such as setting wifi settings, turning LED lights off etc), but when I plug the adapter in, it does not recognise he device type or give ma any options other than security settings (which are on defalut anyway).
Basically nothing will stop the the green power LED flashing and let the 2 devices see each other any more!
Any ideas, anyone?
Or has the adapter gone caput?!
Thanks

Hi Satchman, it is possible that the firmware is corrupted as the blinking power LED indicates. You can try flashing the firmware via TFTP. Her's a link for the steps.
